Nuestra Semana // Our Week!!

Hi everyone!! a little bit of our week to share....

LENGUAJE
--  She worked with Triangle and Rectangle to build this....

--  With short chains worked on skip counting using this form of Montessori Print Shop.

What do I need to complete 5?? Absent digit is an entire investigative work! Lol (that is excited! Lol)
-- This beautiful material from my friend Jeanette! allowed us to review and learn things from fractions!

Repasó las familias....  --  Review families

Equivalencias.... (disculpen la foto de lado!!)  --  Equivalences .... (sorry for the sideways picture!)
--  And we started to add  simple fractions ... do not know if it was the material, it is in my opinion, very visual, much more than the circles, but she basically do it alone! and I didn{t explain anything!

I presented the #1 multiplication memorization board.  So she didn´t  get bored with the same things, one day we make additon and division,  subtraction and multiplication another, always trying to change or rotate the materials and works.

BOTANICA
-- The function of the Leaf ¨ "How do plants eat? Have you ever thought about it?"  "Each  leaf contains  water. Each drop of water consists of two
particles of hydrogen and one particle of orxygen. With the help of the sun,  the green color in the leaf separate the two hydrogen particles from the oxygen particle."

"The hydrogen is then taken and mixed with another gas called carbon dioxide. These two are made into plant food. The oxygen is not used and is thrown off as waste."
"In this way the leaf makes food for the entire plant." ¨working to process the food and take it to the ground! This lesson was spectacular!,  these Impressionists posters was a Hit!!!
--  Besides the chat, we make an expriment!!
--  Put the leaf on a clear bowl with water... After a while, the air bubbles will start comimg up.  When they see the bubbles coming out, it gives a really good impression of the oxygen given off!!

También trabajó con los biomas...  --  She also works with Biomes
And made the Leaf parts Book!! I will show in the next post!!

SENSORIAL
-- Worked with Phytagoras Square, and then ended asked me if it would always be so, for it put together? It's going to be empty? .... I said we're going to pick up all the pices and left the first 4 colors...
--  What you think the colors symbolize?, Numbers! well, how much is 1 once? 1, and set the red bead, How much its 2 one time is? 2!   And placed 2, 2, 2 times? 4 .... eeey this is like skip counting!!  I will look for the short chains! ok! ... and left it in the fourth .... From Sensory  to Mathematics, Isn{t good??? How thoughtful!
