MATEMATICAS

Fue una semana [suavecita en Matemáticas, Conteo salteado con las cadenas cortas del 2, 3 y 4. // Very slow week in math, Skip counting… short chains 2, 3 & 4.

Una suma sencilla y diferente, para variarle… cuando NO hay muchos deseos de sumar!!lol // Very simple and “different” addition form for those days that she just don’t want to work with math!!lol

Es la 1era vez que multiplicamos con el Juego de las Estampillas!! y le encantó!! // and next day….. tara!!! Math!!lol 1st time with Multiplication with Stamp Game…she love it!!!

Fracciones, Conociendo TODAS las familias, hasta el Décimo y repasando numerador y denominador. // Fractions, review of all families!!

CIENCIAS

Comenzamos con el rompecabezas de las aves… y cuando nos dimos cuentas… // She start with the birds puzzle, and when we figure out, she includes language!!

trabajaba lenguaje, rotulando las aves // She it’s labeling the birds.

Le entregué un patrón,de gramática y elaboró varias oraciones con el.!! // I gave her a grammar symbol pattern, and she build some scentences using Article, Name, and Adjective.!!

Unidad de Insectos!! Comenzando con la Mariquita!! Preparé mi 1era nomenclatura de 3 partes de la Mariquita en Español, se las comparto en la próxima!! // Bugs Unit!! finally, we start with Ladybug, and I prepared my first spanish nomenclature of 3 parts, I’ll share to you, next time!!

Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar el Museo del Niño en Carolina con el Grupo de Apoyo. // We visit the Child Museum of Carolina with the Support Group!! and had a Great time!!!

Vimos un volcán activo!! / we saw an active volcano!!

Y caminó através de el. / And we walked through him.

Hizo compras en el mercado!! / She buyed some vegetables at the Market!

También dió el reporte del tiempo!!lol / Also gave the weather report.

Las nuevas tres patrulleras!!lol // The new three patrol girls!

Trabajó a tiempo parcial el la Estación de Bomberos / Worked part time the Fire Station!!

trabajó con Papá!! …. un poco de enjuagador bucal por favor!!lol / She worked with Daddy!! ….oral squeegee, please!!lol

Continuamos con fracciones y conoció la familia de los Sextos!! – We still working with fractions…. she meet a new family , sixths!

Trabajo de San Valentín, en el frasco, hay 18 combinaciones de matemáticas 6 de suma, 6 de resta y 6 de multiplicacion. -- A new Valentine{s work, on the bottle are 18 combinations of math, 6 of addition, 6 of subraction and 6 of multiplication. and some pink and red counters.

5 veces 5!! interesante, primera vez que hace multiplicación sin el tablero!! --- 5 times 5!! sooo interesting, first multiplication work without the board!

Las que hizo hoy! -- She done!!

Otra sorpresita de San Valentín!! En los corazones hay varios números no mas altos que 10 y 10 piedras preciosas rojas en la cajita!!! Descubre un corazón, saca las cuentas correspondientes y tiene que escribir en la libreta las TODAS las combinaciones posibles que den a ese número!! Divertido ehhh!! -- Another surprise for Valentine's Day! In the hearts there are several numbers, not higher than 10 and 10 red gems in the box! Find a heart, get the gems and have to write in the notebook all possible combinations that give that number! Ehhh fun!

Estados unidos para variar!!!lol …. armó el rompecabeza, y comenzó a escribir los estados en orden alfabetico…. se quedó en la K!!LOL -- United States for a change! Lol .... put together the puzzle, and began to write the states in alphabetical order .... she took a break at the K!! LOL

Con el de Montessori y su control!…. lo divertido fue armarlo en el original!! -- Montessori USA map with control…. put it back togheter was fun!!!

Por fin!!! eehhhh llego el libro de las pesetas!!! solo le falta Hawaii, Alaska y tres territorios, Guam, y dos mas … Finally!!! The coins book arrive!!! yeaaa….. only Alaska and Hawaii missed and 3 territories.

Trabajo independiente!!! ehhhh, mandatos de Geografía y lo hizo super!!!! aunque no tan independiente!!lol -- She worked a little bit alone with some Geography commands… she did a great job!!

INGLES

Estamos trabajando inglés, usamos unos Workbooks de Carson Dellosa para beginners y nos va ESPECTACULAR”!! esto lo conseguí en Marshallls, y trabaja …prodría decirse que la serie rosada y azul!!lol… es un rompecabeza y a su vez trabaja vocabulario y deletreo… -- We are working on English, we use a Carson Dellosa Workbooks for beginners and she did SPECTACULAR "! I got this in Marshallls, and works ... say that the pink and blue series! lol ... it's a puzzle to work vocabulary and spelling ...

Luego de eso, le dicté 10 palabras en inglés….ehhh…. 6 y 7 incorrectas!! -- After that, I dictated 10 words in English .... Ehhh .... 6 and 7 incorrect!

Construyendo una Casa… // Building a house!!

Para navidad mi princesa grande recibio este kit de lego,…. y aunque no lo crean, este es el primero!! del tamaño normal de Legos… // Big Princess received at Christmas this lovely Lego Kit., this it{s the first one on our house!!

Muy emocionada comenzó a construir su casita, …ah…yo moría por armarla con ella!!!lol …. pero no quería ayuda!!! que mal para mi…!!lol // We BOTH was very excited!! I was crazy about it!! and guess what, she don{t let me build the house with her!!!lol sooooo sad for me!!!lol

Después de muucho rato me pidió ayuda, aunque casi todo estaba hecho!! por lo menos pude hacer una nena!lol La pasó SUPER!! ahora los Legos es lo primero que busca en el shopper de Toys R Us!!lol // After a looooong time, she asked for help, but let me tell you, she almost done!!!, at lease I can build a little girl!!lol From now on, when we received the Toys R Us shooper, it{s the first thing that she looking for!!lol

Su nueva amiguita, la Sra. Cara de Papa, le encanta!! // Her newest best friend, Mrs. Potato Head!

Golpeando las pelotitas en el barco, y las acomoda nuevamente! // Hitting the balls and putting back where belongs.

Uno de sus Favoritos!! Transferir pegatinas!! (stickers), le doy una hoja de pegatinas y una hoja en blanco, puede estar un raaaaato!! y es un excelente ejercicio para motor fino!! // This its a HIT!! I give her a sticker sheet and a blank page, and she transfer or put the stickers on the blank page, it{s a Great Fine Motor excercise!!

Tiempo de Escuela / School Time

Hola!!! Estamos vivas!!lol, la realidad es que no había tenido mucho tiempo, de “blogear”, entre catarros, organización… escuelita y princesas…no venia por aquí.lol Pero me alegro mucho y ciertamente tenía un bajón, de sentarme a escribir y leer los blogs que tanto me encantan!°!! Aquí parte de nuestra semana.!!

Hello! We are alive! Lol, the reality is that I not had much time for "blogging" between colds, schoolhouse organization and princesses!!!lol But I am happy and certainly had a letdown, to sit down to write and read the blogs that I love so much! °!! This part of our week.!

LENGUAJE

En el estudio de la palabra estamos usando dos alfabetos movibles, aquí para los fonemas o fonogramas. / In the word study, we are using two movable alphabets, here for the phonograms.

En nuestro idioma, las letras S, C y Z tiene el mismo sonido…ssss / In our Language, letters S, C and Z have the same sound ….ssss

Varios objetos en la canasta, ella forma la palabra con el AM, el sonido o el fonema va de 1 solo color y el resto de la palabra del otro….. luego se evalúa ella misma con el control (tarjetitas con la palabra escrita). / I put some objects with that beginning sound in a basquet so she build that words with the MA, then she comfirm with the control how she did it!!!

Encontré estos en Amazon, están fabu, tira los dados y en las imagenes que caigan, tiene que contar una historia…..Había una vez….. está genial!! / I found these at Amazon…. super cool!! she love it!!!

Le dibujé unos patrones con los simbolos gramaticales y ella construyó las oraciones…el tema…los materiales de la escuelita!!! / I draw some patterns of Grammar Symbols on her notebook, and she build scentences with the School Material theme.!

CULTURAL

La princesa grande, está (enganchada)??¡lol con los estados de los Estados Unidos de Norte América!!, ahora junto a su papá colecciona las pesetas de los diferentes estados…. Aquí con unas tarjetas que me envio mi querida amiga Gigi!!! (Gracias amiguita!!!! son un hit!!) coloca las pesetas en los estados correspondiente y a su vez, lee un poquito de cada uno!! / The big princess is (hooked)? Lol with the states of the United States of America! Now with his dad collects the quaters from different states .... Here with a flash card set that my dear friend Gigi! send us! (Thanks girlfriend!! Are a hit!) Here she{s matching the quarters with the state!! and read a little of each!

Dia de Los Tres Reyes Magos!!–Three Kings Day!!

Aqui estamos!!! Aunque en el resto del mundo, ya todo está mas o menos en rutina nuevamente, en esta parte, todavía seguimos de fiesta!!lol…. Y aunque el catarro anda rondando por ahí…. el fin de semana pasado, especificamente el viernes, fue el Dia de los Reyes Magos!! la pasamos super!! en casita en la mañana y luego visitando las dos abuelitas!!… aquí algunas fotos!! -- Here we are! Canasta con libros de Navidad y Canasta de Instrumentos Musicales, …(Somos de Puerto Rico… a parrandear!!!lol) – Christmas books basket and Musical Instruments, ... (We are from Puerto Rico ...to partying! Lol)

Así como decoramos nuestro hogar con bellos adornos en la Navidad, permitamos que aquel niño que nació, que es el motivo verdadero de la Navidad, embellezca nuestras vidas con su Gran Amor e Inmensa Paz.

Igual que la semana pasada, no tuvimos tantos dias de escuela, pues ahora estabamos ensayando para el Musical de Navidad de nuestra Iglesia, Aaron, el pastorcito Alergico…. aqui parte de lo que hicimos. // As last week, we don’t had so many school day , because now we were rehearsing for the Christmas Musical of our Church, Aaron, the Alergic Shepherd ... here some of what we did.

LENGUAJE

Ok, se supone trabajariamos con la granja, pero ella queria hacer este rompecabezas y hablar de los animales, asi que ajuste las presentaciones y el trabajo que tenia en mente, y trabajamos lenguaje con el fondo del mar…. // Ok, it is assumed she work with the farm, but she wanted to do this puzzle and talk about animals, so I adjust the presentations and the work I had in mind, and the grammar and language work it’s Under the sea ....!!lol

Una vez que termino de armarlo, comenzo a crear oraciones usando simbolos gramaticales y los animales del fondo del mar. // Once she builded, began to create grammatical sentences using symbols and sea animals.

Primera parte… // First work

Luego anadimos la Conjuncion // Then we add the Conjunction

Luego el Verbo …Ya habiamos tenido estas presentaciones previamente. especificamente en la del verbo,... fue muy graciosas, pues le prepare unas tarjetas con diferentes acciones... ej: Salta, Rie, Lee... y lo entendio muy bien! // Then the Verb ..We had previously had these presentations. Specifically on the verb, ... was very funny, I prepared some cards with different actions ... like.. Jump,laugh, read ... and she understood it very well!

Segunda parte de su trabajo!! aqui hay 2 triangulos de adjetivo fuera de lugar… lo discutimos y ella misma se corrigio. Adicional a esto, hemos trabajado mucha lectura, escritura creativa y fonemas. // Second part the your work! Here are 2 adjective triangles out of place ... we discussed and she corrected herself. In addition to this, we worked a lot of reading, creative writing and phonics.

MATEMATICAS

Suma dinamica y sencilla de 2, 3 y 4 digitos con el material dorado. // Dynamic and simple addition of 2, 3 and 4 digits with golden beads material.

ARTE

Vimos en uno de mis blogs favoritos, Discovery Days and Montessori Moments, como utilizaron los Metal Insets, para crear dibujos navidenos y lo tuvimos que hacer!! Gracias Stephanie!! // We saw on one of my favorite blogs, Discovery Days and Montessori Moments, how they used Metal Insets to create some christmas drawing and we had to do it! Thanks Stephanie!/ /

Tambien de otro de mis favoritos encontramos este trabajo fabuloso en Adventures of Bear, y lo hicimos tambien, pues a mi princessa le encantan los patrones y tangrams // We also found on another from my favorites blogs, this fabulous job on Adventures of Bear, and we did it too, because my princess loves patterns and tangrams.

Recital de Navidad / Christmas Concert

Anoche la Escuela de Bellas Artes, tuvo su Recital o Concierto de Navidad…. Estuvo muy lindo y nuestra Princesa participó por vez primera, tocó junto a sus compañeros del grupo de Suzuki [Twinkle, Twinkle little Star *….. mamá estava muuuy emocionada y ella también. -- Last night the School of Fine Arts, had its Christmas concert, it was very cute, and we had a great time. Our princess participated with the group of Suzuki violin and played Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Mom was super excited!!!

Tuvimos una muy buena semana, mucho lenguaje y mucha matemáticas!! …. En lenguaje… Trabajó Escritura Creativa!! hizo un trabajo en su libreta utilizando unos comandos que trabajé en español, su tema… su hermana!! Quedó hermoso!! También trabajamos fonemas, antónimos, sinónimos, dictados y oficialmente comenzamos a trabajar un poco el Inglés, … en dictado, cuadernos y un trabajo de parear, en este caso eran alimentos…. --- We had a great week, a lottttttt of Language and Math!! On Language she start working with the Word Study, she did CReative Writing, with some spanish commands that I prepared, the theme she choose was her sister!!! ohhhh so beautiful!! She also works with phonics, dictations, antonyms and synonyms. We start to work English too!!

Hola!! Aqui compartiendo algunas cositas de nuestra semana pasada… y me doy cuenta de que nunca publico NADA de vida práctica… en el salón como tal, no tenemos mucho de VP pues sus trabajos, los hace en la casa como tal… Mi princesa, arregla su cuarto, SU CAMA!!, recoje sus juguetes todo el tiempo y los de su hermanita!!lol, me ayuda con la ropa a lavar, doblar y guardar!! y en algunas ocasiones, quiere lavar platos!!lol tiene su tablita de responsabilidades y siempre la tiene llena de caritas felices!!

I was thinking … that I NEVER post something about Practical Life, we don{t have too much works on the school area, because my princess works A LOT at home… she organize her bethroom, she makes her bed!!, organize and put away her and her sister toys, she helps me with the laundry!! and sometimes she wash some dishes!! Si hicimos escuelita!!lol pero ella quería hacer este rompecabeza que se compro con un dinerito que le regalaron sus abuelitos!! Es de Razpunzel y tiene 300 piezas!!… Acortamos un poco el tiempo de escuelita y añadimos un tiempo de rompecabezas!!!lol… Les dije que les encanta?lol

Yes, we had school time!! but this time she just want to build this Razpunzel puzzle that she buy with some money that her grandparents gave her!! The puzzle have 300 pieces!! and she had a great time!!…. Did I told you she just love puzzles???lol

Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar el Museo de Vida Silvestre con el Grupo de Apoyo, Montessori en el Hogar!! Tuvimos una experiencia ESPECTACULAR!! El Museo es Hermoso, Los chic@s la pasaron Super!!!, entusiasmados, participando, y su comportamiento fue excelente!! Aqui algunas fotos….

We had a Field triep with the Montessori en el Hogar group, to the Wild Life Museum!! We had a Great Experience there!!! The kids had a great time, they was very excited!!, and have a lot participation!!! Here some of the pics…..

Trabajando solita con el Cuadro de Phytagoras, tengo que mencionar que ha sido un EXITO en nuestro salón, lo hace TODOS los dias desde la presentación, e inmediatamente, el mismo dia de la presentación, en lugar de llamar los cuadrados y rectangulos por su color, me decia…. ahora va el 7… y asi sucesivamente!! ASOCIACION!!lol sobre los objetivos directos e indirectos, AQUI… Inicialmente, en esa publicación dije que no recordaba el link…lo tengo AQUI. También tengo que mencionar que inicialmente vi esta presentación en Montessori at Home, y me ENCANTO!! por lo que busqué mas información para hacerla acá-- Working alone with the Phytagoras{ Square, I have to mentioned this work its a HIT in our classroom, since day 1, I posted HERE, on that post, I didnt mentioned that I saw this presentation on Montessori at Home and I just LOVE IT!!! Then start a search for more info and I found it HERE. At the same time my princess was working with me on the 1st presentation, she just make the connection!! I asked her for the yellow squares and rectangles and she said…. here number 4!!

Cuadrado de Phytagoras / Phytagoras’ Square SENSORIAL!!!

Hace un tiempo vi aqui este trabajo, y en realidad me enamore de el, y sabia que mi princesa tambien lo haria pues le fascina trabajar con todo lo que es “rompecabezas”!! , con todo el material de cuentas en colores, y la torre rosada, sabe e identifica que se relacionan entre si… asi que me di a la tarea de presentarselo…. EN FORMA SENSORIAL!!

Edad es de 31/2 en adelante..

Materiales Los cuadrados de Phytagora, que vienen en una caja de madera, estos son 10 [sets de madera, en códigos de color, son 10 cuadrados y 90 rectángulos, y alfombra grande

Presentacion (simplificando)

Se invita al niño a buscar el material (y todo el protocolo, alfombra… y todo lo demás)
En silencio, coloco el cuadrado rojo en la parte superior izq….. y le digo… ves las piezas verdes? Las podrías sacar? y coloco PRIMERO el cuadrado en la parte inferior derecha del cuadrado rojo (cuadrarlo, puntita con puntita)! y luego acomodo los rectángulos…
Podrías sacar la piezas rosas?….Ves el cuadrado, lo podrías acomodar? y invito a armarlo….Invito al niño a que continue armando el trabajo.
Verificar que SIEMPRE COMIENCE CON EL CUADRADO y luego continue con los rectángulos….hasta armar los dorados.
Luego recojer el material COMENZANDO POR EL DORADO…(que fue lo último que armó) hasta llega al rojo.
Retornar el trabajo a la tablilla correspondiente.

Vocabulario .. Cuadrado, rectángulo, más grande, más pequeño, de ser necesario.

Objetivo Directo al armar el cuadrado de Phytagoras.. Discriminación de tamaño, formas y colores

Objetivo indirecto.. Ayudar a desarrollar una mente lógica matemática, Coordinación ojo-mano, Construir una actividad intelectual, Refinar sentidos, y desarrollar actividades cognitivas como pensar, juzgar, asociar y comparar, Desarrollar poderes de observación como lo son atención y concentración. Preparación para multiplicación y preparación para algebra.

Age: 3 ½ and up
Materials:
- Pythagoras’ square, a box, which contains 10, sets of wooden, colour codes squares (10) and rectangles (90)
and a square frame with a molded edge, a mat. The colours of the rectangles and squares are corresponding to
the coloured bead stair.
- A working mat.
Presentation:
1. Invite the child to the shelf.
2. Show the child where the box and the frame are kept in the environment.
3. Invite the child to carry the mat to an area on the floor and unroll the mat then put down the square frame +
the box.
4. Invite the child to open the box and remove the small red square. Then point to the top left hand corner of the
frame and invite the child to display it right in the corner.
5. Next invite the child to remove the green square and rectangles and to lay them on the frame. Then ask: “Do
you see the square ? Could you put it here pointing to the lower right hand corner of the red square?
6. Then the child is invited to place the two small green rectangles on either side of the green square.
7. The teacher continues: “May you take out all the pink squares and rectangles?” making sure that only one
coloured set is taken out of the box one at a time.
8. The teacher continues in the same manner: “Do you see the square ? Could you place it here” pointing to the
spot where the child should place the pink square, which is at the bottom lower corner of the green square?
9. The child is then invited to place the two largest pink rectangles against the pink square, then the second
largest rectangles against the previous ones, and so forth.
10. Invite the child to continue to build the Pythagoras’ square in the same way with all the other coloured sets,
till the end.
11. Make sure the child always starts with the square, then the largest rectangles against the square, then the next
largest rectangles, and so forth, in decreasing order.
12. When completed, admire his/her work then invite the child how to return the pieces to the box. First, invite to
place the square into the compartment first, and then overlie it with the largest rectangle + the smallest
rectangle to form a square for each layer beginning by the golden set and finishing by the red set.
13. Have the child return the box and the frame back on the appropriate place on shelf.
Language: square, rectangle, largest, smallest, if needed
Direct Aim: To build a Pythagoras’ square: discrimination of size, shape and colours
Indirect Aim:
Helping developing a logical mathematical mind
Eye-hand coordination
Build intellectual activity
Refine the senses and develop cognitive skills such as thinking, judging, associating and

Develop powers of observation such as attention and concentration
Preparation for multiplication
Preparation for algebra (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10)² = (a+b+c+d+e+f+g+h+i+j)²

Esta no es mi princessa….el libro favorito de nuestra pequeña… ya llega y se acomoda solita al área de su canasta de libros en la sala..(yo creo que hay una en todos los lugares de mi casa!!lol) hoy se lo leimos y ella continuo mirándolo, tocando las diferentes texturas y hablando..(en su idioma!!)

Este año Tuvimos este hermoso y grande grupo de camperos, y viajamos atraves de los grandes mares y aprendimos que la palabra de Dios… Nos cambia, nos guia, nos consuela, nos sorprende y es para todos!!! La Libreria / The Book Store!!

El lunes trabajamos matemáticas de una forma diferente!!! Creamos la Librería!! On Monday, we worked with addition a little bit different….. we create The Book Store!!

Colocamos varios libros, su computadora, una caja registradora, y dinero!!!lol Obviamente cada libro tiene su costo y tenia que SUMAR!! para poder pagar con DINERO su compra!!! Muyyyy divertido!!

We placed some books, her laptop!!lol., a register and money!!lol Of course, the books have prices and she have to ADD to pay the correct amount with PLAY MONEY!!!! Was too much fun…. and we play a lot, BELEIVE ME A LOT!!

También tuvimos la hora del cuento en la tienda, y leimos MUUUUUCHOS libros!!! We also have the story time on the store and read a lots!!! of books!!

Que especial, 1 libro de Barbie por $3!! wow Sale!!! a Barbie story just for $3!!!

Por supuesto, la peq. princesa, hizo su selección, Esa no es mi hada., un libro de texturas!!! Que dulce….

Siempre comento en mis publicaciones, que practicamos lectura, de las diferentes series, tanto rosada como azul; tambien de la coleccion de Foneticos, es una serie de 36 libritos… Mi princesa va por el 27…; pero aparte de eso…., leemos muchisimo de su Biblioteca…y quiero publicarles de lo que leemos juntas y de lo que le lee a su hermanita!! Es un gozo verla leyendole a la pequenita!!! Bueno, les cuento que leo varios blogs, casi todos con experiencias Montessori, pero hay varios con los que me puedo identificar, pues tienen dos hijos y coinciden con las edades de las mias, entre ellos The Adventures of Bear, Chasing Cheerios, Montessori Spanish. Asi que quiero hacer como Julie, en The Adventures of Bear… ella publica de los que sus hijos elijen… Me encanta su blog, aparte de que nuestras chicas mayores coinciden en edad y precisamente en lo que estan aprendiendo en escuelita!!!.. y sobre todo… Julie me lleva meses con su segundo bebe J-jo y de ella aprendo muuuuchisimo sobre las actividades a realizar con mi pequenita!! Asi que con el permiso de Julie, me voy a copiar de los elejidos de la semana!!!!LOL

I always says in my posts, that my princess it’s practice reading, on the series, the pink and the blue… and the phonetics series, but the thing it’s that we read a LOT!!! always, since she was on my belly!!lol… Now that she READ, she makes her picks and also for her little sister… You can’t imagine the Joy that I feel when I saw her reading to her little sister!!!!… Any way, there’s a lot of Montessori blogs I love!! but I have three of them that I can identify myself….The Adventures of Bear, Montessori Spanish and Chasing Cheerios, this it’s because they’re kids are same age or almost, and they are almost in the same works at school…. or something like that!!lol Anyway, I felt like that!! They inspire me with they works and babys activities!! So I’ll copy Julie this time, she post of they’re kiddos picks…. I love her blog because like Gigi and Melissa our girls have the same age… and in our little ones they have months ahead mine, so I learn a lot of they babies activities!!lol… So, with Julie permition, I will copy the Picks of the week!!lol

La mariquita malhumorada, es precioso!! una mariquita que aprende buenos modales por la forma mas dificil!!. Aprende de animales y ciertas caracteristicas y sobre todo presenta el reloj!!! (que esta en mi agenda!!) Una historia un poco larguita!! // This Grouchy Ladybug learn how to be kind by the hard way…, here show some animals, that we clasifyed, and introduce the clock!! (I have that on my school agenda!)

Este es precioso libro tambien, sobre animales animales en el zoo y los sonidos que hacen. Polar Bear, Polar what do you hear, it’s a beautiful book about the animals at the zoo and the sound they make.

Super lindo, introduccion a la division…, por lo menos lo entiende!!lol (les dije que a mi hija le encantan las matematicas???!!lol It’s a cute book that introduce the child to division!!! At lease she understand it!!!lol

Ahhhh English practice!!!!!lol

El Sentido del Tacto–The Sense of Touch

Hace meses leí esta publicación aqui, en Fairy Dust Teaching… un blog fabuloso!!, aqui recomienda proveer al niño lo más natural posible elementos a su ambiente…, proveerle diferentes experiencias de tacto todas naturales… así que lo intenté y aquí traje esto…. I read this post on Fairy Dust Teaching… a lovely blog!!, a while ago… I just love this post, and love the idea of providing some natural touch experiences to my princess…, she recommends to bring to the environment natural elements for a sensorial experiences of course as natural as posible. As she said [This truth of materials educates a child’s sense of awe and respect.]

Coloqué una canasta con elementos de la naturaleza, pelotitas de pajilla y semillas… y otra canasta con caracoles…Tengo en agenda un viaje a la playa proximamente, asi que crearemos una bandeja de playa… Now I have 4 baskets…One with naturals elements as pine cones, seeds, part of plants, some naturals balls. Other with Sea Shells…We have a beach trip very soon…and I will add a beach tray…of course with natural elements…

También una con estrella de mar y otra con popurri de rosas…ay que perfuma super rico nuestra área de estudio. Mi hija estuvo muchisimo rato con los caracoles, tocándolos, escuchándolos…ya que ella dice que esucha el mar.!! Ciertamente, estas canastas son una experiencia a sus sentidos…y a ella le encantan. We also, have a sea star and another with rose popurri… by the way, a lovely smell sense.. on the air!!!. My princess spend a lot with the baskets specially with the sea shells because as she said [I can heard the sea!!!* She just love this little area in our space. Thanks so much Sally!!!

Aunque no me lo crean, estuvimos haciendo escuelita y olvide por completo las fotos!!! Asi que un poquito de lo que hicimos cuando lo recorde!! Beleive it or not, I just forgot to my camera, and by the time we made school I don’t have anything!! A little bit when I remember….

Hola!! solo queria que escucharan y vieran este precioso anfibio que consegui hace mucho en Marshalls!! (lo estamos usando como parte de nuestra unidad de anfibios, que recien comenzamos) canta tan bello!!... bueno aunque no se compara con los reales!!lol pero este no salta!!!lol y se queda en nuestras tablillas!!Hi!! I just want you can heard and see our super cute amphibious!! I found it long time ago at Marshalls!! It's sounds beautiful!!! but the most of all, he can't jump and it's always on our shelves!!!lol.... It's part of our Amphibious Unit!
