Montessori Monday

LENGUAJE

Trabajamos con esto como tres veces esta semana, este ejercicio esta ESPECTACULAR, primero armamos el rompecabezas de M&D de 100 piezas, (asi que aparte de lenguaje, trabajamos sensorial, y motor fino.)

My princess made this job a few times this week, it's SUPER GREAT, in first place we build this under the sea puzzle from Melissa and Dough of 100 pieces.
Luego mi princesa identifico los animales marinos (en objetos) y los pareo con el rompecabezas.

Then she identify all the sea creatures with objects and match them with the puzzle.
Y finalmente, yo le leia las tarjetas y ella las colocaba con el animal correspondiente.

And finally I read to her the little labes and she placed on the right place.

Nos fascino el ejercicio, esta muy completo pues trabajamos sensorial, colores, motor fino, lenguaje y trabajamos en equipo.... Merece la pena mencionar que el rompecabezas es de Marshalls y costo 7.99, igual tenemos el de insectos que lo consegui en $5 y los EU en $6.

We just love it!! its a very complete work because we work, sensorial, colors, fine motor, language, and team work!!! I buyed this puzzle on Marshalls for $7.99 , the bugs for $5 and the US by $6!! I will posted as soon we made them!!

CIENCIAS
Trabajo toda la semana con los tres rompecabezas del gavinete botanico, le fascina.

She worked all week with the botanical cabinet!! she just love it.

MATEMATICAS
En math, mi princesa trabajo con un rompecabeza en foam donde tienes que armar el # y las cantidades a su vez trabajando con formas y colores.... estuvo muy bueno y este trabajo siempre le encanta.

In math, my princess worked with a foam puzzle where she have to builded with the #'s and quantities, at the same time she practice colors and shapes.... it's so nice and she love it.
No se como explicarlo,.... (les habia mencionado que mi princessa tiene pasion por las torres???), aqui trabajo con el reloj, me menciono todos los #s los coloco por formas y despues, adivinen que?? construyo una torre.!!

I don't know how explain this.... (did I mentioned that my princess LOVE TO BUILD towers????) Here she worked with the clock, said all the #'s and placed on the shapes places, and then....guess what??? She build a tower!!!!

VIDA PRACTICA

Esta semana, ella fue mi super uper ayudante!!!, frego....

This last week she was mi SUPER UPER LITTLE HELPER!! she washed some dishes...
Mapeo ..... ah... le fascinas mis chanclas!!

She cleaned the floor..... by the way, she just love my sandals!!

Esto lo hace TODOS LOS DIAS!!, arregla su cama.... y acomoda todas sus munecas.

She made this ALL SINGLE DAYS!!, she made her bed... and place all her dolls.

SENSORIAL
Trabajo una extension de los long rods....

She made a long rods extension.
Trabajo con la caja de colores #1, hay estuvo muy facil....definitivamente, perdi ese dinero!!

She worked with the Color Box#1, was too easy....I shoud by the #3 instead!!

Letras con picadillo / Letters with scrap...

Me tome la molestia de imprimir de aqui, todo el abecedario en Espanol, para hacer algo un poquito diferente con mi princesa, yo se que esto no es algo nuevo y seguramente lo han visto en muchos blogs.... pero lo queria incluir en nuestra area de arte, no en la escuelita como tal, y asi coloreaba, hace algo de craft mientras practica varias cosas como lenguaje y motor fino. Pero resulto, segun su carita y sus expresiones, QUE ESTABA ABURRIDA!!! tal vez para ella no fue tan divertido como pense... o simplemente no estaba en el mood..lol....

I printed ALL the alphabet in Spanish from here to do something different with my princess, I now this isn't new and you has seen this in a lots of blogs, but I just want to added in the art and craft area, so she can paint and do some craft while practice other things like language and fine motor skills, maybe she wan't on the mood ... But I think she was bored!!! I'm goin to try another day!!lol

En realidad no se que tiempo tomo en el mosaico, donde creo que se canso, pero lo termino!!
She painted, (that was exciting), but on the mosaic, I really miss the time!! but she finished!! of course with momy help!!

A cortar se ha dicho!!!!

Estoy super EMOCIONADA!!, pues me parece haber comentado antes, que mi princesa no mostraba ningun interes en cortar..., estaba yo media estresica pues entendia que ya era tiempo..... anyway, ayer estuvimos rotulando los materiales montessori en nuestro saloncito y que creen, me dijo, esto esta muy largo tengo que cortarle un poquito!!! y le dije, muy bien cortalo y los corto!!! nada mas y nada menos con MI TEJERA!!! no utilizo ninguna de su coleccion (pues en mi interes de que cortara, le habia comprado las que se supone que ella use, y habia comprado varias!!).

I'm so EXCITED!!, I think I commented before that my princess, don't show any interest in cutting.... and yesterday we was putting the names on the monti materials on our classroom, and she said.."This it's too long, I have to cut it"... and I said, " perfect, cut it"..... and she did it!!! WITH MY SCISSORS!!! I buyed to her a few safety scissors.... but no she just don't like them... she LOVES MINE!!!

Intercambio / Post Card Exchange

La semana pasada mi princessa andaba feliz por toda la casa con una carta, como decia ella, que le enviaron unos nuevos amigos de otra preciosa isla!!! James y Mari-Ann, de Counting Coconuts!! Gracias, Mari-Ann, por hacer el dia de mi princessa!! Por tanto, me encantaria hacer un intercambio de Post Cards, asi que las invito!!! Last week my princess was SO EXCITED!! because she received a letter (she said), from a sweet new friend from another beautiful island Mari-Ann and James from Counting Coconuts!!! Thank you so much Mari-Ann, you make her day!!! So I loved to saw her so happy that I want to invite to a Post Card exchange or swap (como se diga!!) Montessori Monday

LANGUAGE
Mom it's very focus on the language area... because she's doing great with letters and sounds, and Thanks God, she loves the language shelve!!... She's start with the new Farm, I just love it... they are really blocks, everything! the trees, the barn... blocks, (from Discount school supply too).

She works with the animals, the fence....

and matching the objects-pictures and I gave her the names.... she was excited because she recognize the letters and make the sounds.....was fun.

PRACTICAL LIFE

She was working with her bottoning dressing board....and she said... "I did it!!!" She also repeat some great activities like transfering water with the funel... she do that EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!lol, cutting and some other helping me at the home....oh I just forget, SHE MADE HER BED IN MORNINGS!!!!! (I WILL post it on next MM)!!.

SENSORIAL

She work with the new mega stackers, .... I put on the basket the oval shape and this one...

by the end she put them on a line... from small to bigger.

I found the beautiful brain teaser on Marshalls, just 2.50 on sale, but I didn't put it on the shelves because it's too much for my princess... when I look, she was trying... I let her and she did a great job.

MATH
Just to share with you, I buyed this to work with the cubes, she just was looking it.... (I didn't make any presentation, I didn't say anything,=!!!) and she went to the math shelve find the small rods, a trying each one to find the one who fit on the space and put the little number on the top... OMG.... association!!! nice....

Suzuki Violin Lessons

Me parece que habia comentado antes que mi princesa esta tomado clases de Violin con el Metodo Suzuki.... y le encanta!! Hoy fue dia de violin, y salio de alli, FELIZ!!!

I think that I told before that My princess it's taking Violin lessons with the Suzuki Method.... and she just Love it!!! Today was her lesson (each Friday) and by the end of the class she was SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!

MI nueva Mejor AMIGA / My newest best FRIEND

Como saben, estamos de mudanza, ya transferimos las tablillas y trabajos a nuestra nueva escuela, pero todavia falta TODO EL CLOSET de nuestra antigua escuelita. Aqui, Jen, me ha dado una super leccion de organizacion.... es tan y tan ordenada que soy fanatica de ella!!! Me compre la maquina en Cotsco y comence con mi proyecto!!

As you know, we are moving our old school to a new and bigger area, we just moved the basic things, but I left ALL THE MATERIALS ON THE CLOSET of our old school....(and I have to change to our newest). Here, Jen, gave me a Super Lesson on Organization 101, she's so organized that I'm her number #1 FAN!!!..... so I found this Super machine at Cotsco and start my new project!!!

Todo el material laminado y cortado, ahora esta clasificado, debidamente ROTULADO y listo para usarse!! (antes tenia un pequeno revolu de bolsitas Ziplock)!!

I change the zip lock system(so messy) for this one!! All my already printed, laminated and cutted material into this envelopes... They're finished, clasifyed and LABELED!! and ready to use!! (now I know what I have!!!)lol....

Hasta mi area de scrap, esta rotulada..... De verdad mi nueva mejor amiga costo bien economica y esta siendo EXAGERADAMENTE util para mi!!!

Por fin llego!!!!!! / Finally arrived!!!!

I'm soooooo excited!!! Finally I received today our Kid Advance order!!.... We buyed the Botanical cabinet, with 3 puzzles, the color box #1 & #2, The Binomial Cube, The blue triangles, (I'm not so sure.... the correct name, but they was on sale!!) and the pink tower stand!!

Las letras en montessori...

Hace un tiempito atras mi amiguita Meninheira de Dalle un Colino, me pidio le que posteara las letras en el Metodo Montessori, ok, yo no soy la mas experta, simplemente me he dedicado a leer todos los libros de Montessori que encuentro, ver blogs y videos de expertos en el MM. Asi que si alguna de mis amiguitas mamas en Moti tienen que aportar en esto... Porfavor en confianza en el area de comentarios.!! Siiiiempre son bienvenidos.

Oka, nosotros comenzamos presentandole los simbolos (letras) con las letras de lija, es exageradamente importante involucrarlos en el trazo de la letra!!, luego que practicamos lo presentamos (el trazo) en la bandeja con arena. Cuando presentamos el simbolo lo que hacemos es el sonido..., ejemplo si presento la letra D, no le digo esta es la De, si no que trazo con los dedos indice y corazon juntos el simbolo mientras imito el sonido.... du, du, du,....etc. Asi yo puedo estar una semana con tres letras, para que las aprenda bien.

Yo personalmente, comence con las vocales y luego con todas las que se quedaban en la misma linea... ejemplo, todas las cortas.... m, n, o, s, r, etc. las del abecedario en espanol, como ch, n, ll las deje para ultimo igual que las complicadas, h, y c (que no tienen o tienen varios sonidos).

Le segui, presentadole la letra con objetos que comiencen con la misma, para que vaya relacionando. El proposito directo de todo esto es hacer al nino conciente de los sonidos de las letras y palabras y que las relacione al simbolo apropiado por medio de una memoria visual y muscular. El proposito indirecto, aparte de aprenderlas, es la preparacion indirecta para la lectura.

Luego ya ve los simbolos hace el sonido y parea con objetos que comienzen con las letras.

Mas adelante trabajamos con el alfabeto mobible, donde ya hace los sonidos y va creando palabras, obviamente comenzando desde lo mas elemental.

Hay muchos juegos para hacer con las letras, como estos de aqui, y demas esta decirte, que tengo letras donde quiera!!!!! en la nevera, en la lavadora, hay pequenos "bowlcitos" por ahi con letras...!!!! todo por que las aprenda!! Espero haber aclarado tu duda y haberte explicado bien, realmente es interesantisimo por que cuando vienes a ver, y crees que conoce las letras, YA ESTAN LEYENDO!!!

Esta actividad la habia presentado antes, buscamos en las burbujas objetos, practicamos el sonido y buscamos el simbolo (letra) y los pareamos.
