Montessori Monday

Incluyo fotos de antes de las vacaciones!! pues no habia publicado esto.., ....continuamos con los planetas!! y la princesa quería hacer un librito de ellos!!! Este trabajo fue super completo, pues además de investigar un poco más de los planetas, todo este librito de planetas comprendía.... lectura, escritura, investigación, trazar los planetas (de molde utilizó el calado metálico redondo) colorear, recortar, pegar!!! Todo!!  Tengo fotos de unas semanas atras y nuevas!!--  Since I didn't post before vacations... I include pictures before vacations!!lol, we continue with the planets ....! and the princess wanted to do a book of them! This work was super complete, as well as investigate a little more of the planets, planets around this booklet included .... reading, writing, research, draw the planets (used metal insets round draft) coloring, cutting, pasting! Everything!

Regalo de Amor // A Love Gift!!

Por segundo año consecutivo, mi hija comparte de sus bendiciones.!!  Gracias a Dios por que tenemos unas hijas sanas, saludables y con corazón generoso!!...  Ella quiso nuevamente donar su cabello a los niños que lo necesitan.... Cada vez que veía el anuncio del Children´s Hospital, me decia... mamá cortame el cabello para enviarlo nuevamente..... Tan bella!!  Gracias Señor por tantas y tantas Bendiciones!!

For the second consecutive year, my daughter shared her blessings.!! Thank God that we have a healthy daughters, healthy and with a big and generous heart! ... She wanted to donate her hair to kids in need .... Every time she saw the Children's Hospital comercial, told me ... Mom cut my hair to send it to the kids who needs ..... So beautiful! Thank you Lord!!!.... Count your blessings!

Mini Vacations!!

Hola!!! Estamos de vuelta!! Estuvimos preparando la casa para navidad, pasamos un dia de Acción de Gracias super lindo en familia y preparándonos para nuestras merecidas vacaciones!!! Tuvimos un tiempo espectacular!!! de piscina y playa con el clima perfecto de Rincón!!!!  Les confieso, que extrañe mucho el blog, los blogs de mis amigas y todo lo que bloguear implica!!lol asi que aponerme al dia!!   Aquí les compartimos....  //    Hello! We're back! We were preparing the house for Christmas, we had a super cute Thanksgiving day with  family and preparing for our well deserved vacation! We had a spectacular time! pool and beach with perfect weather of Rincon!!  I confess that I really missed the blog, my friends blogs  and all that entails blogging! So now catch up with everything!!! Here we share ....

El hotel herrrrrrmoso!!!   Habíamos pocas familias de vacaciones, por lo que fue sumamente relajado, pues la piscina y la playa era casi para nosotros!!!lol   //   Beautiful Hotel!  There were a few families on vacation, so it was very relaxed, the pool and the beach was almost to ourselves! Lol

 Fuimos al Bowling Center, y alli ahi un mini golf, que brilla en la oscuridad!!! coooolllll!!!  // We went to the Bowling Center, and there was a mini golf, which glows in the dark! coooolllll!

 por supuesto, la magia desaparece con mi flash!!lol   Papá dando unas clasesitas!! //  Of couse, the magic gone with my flash!!lol  Here Daddy with a little golf lesson!!lol

 Luego de tanta actividad, ..... a cenar... mmmmmmmmm  //   After all that action.... dinner...mmmmmmm

Descansando al lado de playa, o en la piscina, en familia, sin bullicio......no tiene precio!!!! //   Resting in the beach, or in the pool with my family and this beautiful sunset......... PRICELESS!!!

Otono en una Caja!! / Autum in a Box!!

Mi querida Amiga, Stephanie, de Discovery Days and Montessori Moments, y sus hermosas princesas, Bunny y Pup, nos llenaron la semana de alegria!!  Ya que nosotros vivimos en el Tropico,  y en Puerto Rico, todo el año es verano, nos enviaron un Otoño en una caja!!!! Sí, Nos enviaron, preciosas hojas de diferentes tipos, bañaditas en cera!!, maíz, conos de pino, semillas, bellotas y otras primitas más pequeñas y hasta nos hicieron una hermosa Hada del Otoño!!!!  Gracias!!!  Stephanie, por tu generosidad y por permitirle a mis princesas ver en vivo lo que aqui no tenemos!!!!  Usamos partes de las hojas para nuestro estudio de Tipos de hojas, ahora si tenemos para parear con la nomenclatura!!! Siiiii, y también hicimos nuestra bandeja de naturaleza..... mmmmm huele a Otoño en nuestro ambiente!!!   Las princesas intercambiaron postales y hasta brazaletes!!!  Gracias, Gracias!!!!  Eres una Super dulce Amiga!!! Reciban un fuerte abrazo!!! --

My dear friend, Stephanie, Discovery Days and Montessori Moments, and her beautiful princesses, Bunny and Pup, filled us with joy this week! Since we live in the tropics, and in Puerto Rico, it is summer all year, they sent a Fall in a box!! Yes, We received, precious leaves of different types, dipped in wax!, Corn, pine cones, seeds, acorns and other smaller cousins ​​and even made ​​us a beautiful Autum Fairy!! SOOO LOVELY!!  Thank you! Stephanie, for your generosity and for allowing my princesses watch live what we don{t have here!! We use parts of the leaves for our study of types of leaves, now if we have to match with the nomenclature! Siiiii, and also made ​​our nature tray ..... mmmmm smells of Autumn in our environment! The princesses exchanged postcards and even bracelets! Thank you, Thank you!! 're A SUPER BEST FRIEND! Receive a big hug!

Parque Ceremonial Indígena de Caguana en Utuado

Llevo más de una semana sin publicar nada!!! Creanme que no he tenido mucho tiempo, pero hemos estado haciendo muuuchas cositas, tengo mucho que compartir y publicar, así que comenzaré por lo más viejito!!lol

Tuvimos la oportunidad de Visitar el Parque Ceremonial Indígena de Caguana en Utuado, Puerto Rico...

Descubierto a principios del siglo XX, excavado por primera vez en 1914 por el antropólogo Jhon Alden Mason. Para el 1956 el Instituto de Cultura dirigido por el Dr. Ricardo Alegría trabajó para la restauración del lugar. Los científicos creen que se construyó hace 807 años. Tiene un bello jardín rodeado de mogotes en forma de un cemí. El Parque ofrece piezas arqueológicas y réplica de espacios ceremoniales de una civilización, que a pesar de los esfuerzos de exterminio de la colonización se niega a desaparecer. Las centenarias piedras talladas por los indígenas que habitaban la zona y su disposición geométrica para crear las plazas y bateyes donde solo se celebran juegos de pelota y areitos. Era un punto de encuentro de los taínos de toda la isla para sus encuentros. El jardín que lo circunda incluye árboles de ausubo, la ceiba y el tabonuco. El paso del río y la agradable temperatura del lugar, estimulan la imaginación del visitante. El parque indígena, consta de doce bateyes rodeados por una variedad de piedras con petroglifos.
Este Parque Nacional figura entre los mas importantes yacimientos arqueológicos del Caribe. --

I've been more than a week without posting anything! Believe me I have not had much time, but we've been doing sooooo many goodies, I have much to share and post, so I'll start with the oldies!!! Lol

We had the opportunity to visit the Caguana Indian Ceremonial Park in Utuado, Puerto Rico ...

Discovered in the early twentieth century, first excavated in 1914 by anthropologist John Alden Mason. For 1956 the Institute of Culture headed by Dr. Ricardo Alegría worked for the restoration of the site. Scientists believe it was built 807 years ago. It has a beautiful garden surrounded by hillocks as a cemí. The park offers archeological pieces and ceremonial spaces replica of a civilization, that despite efforts to exterminate colonization refuses to go away. The centuries-old stone carvings by Indians who inhabited the area and their willingness to create geometric squares and villages where only celebrated ball games and areitos. It was a meeting of the Tainos on the island for their meetings. The garden that surrounds ausubo includes trees, ceiba and tabonuco. The passage of the river and the temperature pleasant place, stimulate the imagination of the visitor. The Indigenous Park, consisting of twelve bateyes surrounded by a variety of stones with petroglyphs.  This National Park is among the most important archaeological sites in the Caribbean.
