Grandes Lecciones // Great Lessons

//One of the things I love about Montessori was the idea of bringing these very important events that happened so many years ago (history), to the environment where children are shown in an impressionist way what happened .... She named, The Great Lessons !!

//  The purpose is to raise awareness or bring the child to reflection ... that through the great lessons, that interest of research about the presented will awaken .... How was the universe created? What changes have taken place to this day? How did life come to earth? When?….

//  The great lessons are directly related to Cosmic Education, placing the child within the order of nature, giving a sense of importance, purpose and responsibility of their own existence.

Las cinco Grandes Lecciones son:

1. Dios sin manos

2. La Llegada de la vida

3. La llegada del Ser Humano

4. Historia de la Escritura

5. Historia de los números

The five Great Lessons are:
1. God without hands
2. The Arrival of Life
3. The arrival of the Human Being
4. History of Scripture
5. History of numbers

//  There are certain Impressionist presentations as well, which are done well near some great lesson. But on my album, I have these five. As I have seen that some consider the Great River, as the sixth ... As I have read, these presentations should be made annually by adding deeper extensions.

Y me refiero a The Learning Ark. //

I am a fan of blogs, there is so much and so much information and wonderful people that disinterestedly share it !! This is the case of a blog that I follow, and for me, has created a wonderful sequence of extensions of the First Great Lesson, The God without Hands. I loved it so much, I implemented it last semester !! And I mean The Learning Ark. She makes a fabulous selection where she integrates after the creation, subjects like: the elements, the molecules, solar system, atoms, moon, galaxies and a world of ideas !!!

//  I will share them eventually as I prepared the shelve and how we are working on it, following the ideas that she shared in her wonderful blog !!
