El Sistema Esqueletal // The Skeletal System

En nuestra Unidad de los Sistemas del Cuerpo, ahora estamos con el Sistema Esqueletal.  Comencé la presentación con una casita!!   // In our Body Sistems unit we started today with the Skeletal System!!

Experimento 1   Que aguanta esto?? // Experiment 1   What’s holding this thing up? 

Armamos una “casita” y luego la comparamos con el esqueleto humano!! en funcion y estructura!!  //  Assemble a tent!  and then compare the tent to the human skeleton in function and structure….

Luego, en la casita nos sentamos a hablar de los huesos y muchos datos curiosos de ellos…. Una vez terminada la charla, Armamos a Tony!!!   // Then… in the tent we talk about bones, and I gave her some fun facts about them… After that we build Tony!!

Con Tony y Pepe, nombramos los huesos mas importantes del cuerpo…. porsupuesto no todos …ella solo tiene 5!!   //  and with Tony and Pepe…. we NAMED the most important bones of the body …. of course not all!!! she’s just 5!!

Tengo que confesar, estoy cortita de tinta….asi que me invente una nueva nomenclatura!!  //  I have to confess … I’m running …well my printer, not me!!lol, short of ink!! OMG… so, I prepared some different nomenclature!! 

Luego de nombrar los nombres de los huesos, mi princesa preparo las etiquetas usando un control…..  //  After named the bones names, my princess prepared the labels using a control ….

 

Tambien le di una demostracion de la Espina Dorsal.. El concepto es el siguiente //  I also, gave her a demonstration:  Spinal “Disk” overy… the concepts:

• The spine is made of linked bones called vertebrae..they give the spine a wide range of motion. // La espina dorsal esta compuesta de huesos conectados llamados vertebras…ellas le dan la oportunidad de movimento.
• Protected inside of the vertebrae is the body’s main collection of nerves called the pinal cord. //  Protegidos dentro de las vertebras se encuentran una gran coleccion de nervios!!!
• A cartilage disk lies in between each vertebrae.  These disks make it possible for the vertebrae to lean slightly against one another when the torso is bent.  // Unos discos de cartilago se encuentran entre cada vertebra..lo que la protege contra ellas mismas….

Sorry, this was at the beginning so I forget the picture!!!  I will included on the next experiments… because we will work with bones at lease one week!!lol // Como esto fue al principio no tome fotos, pero las incluyo en nuestra proxima publicacion de huesos!!!lol
